Dakota Ditcheva, the newest millionaire in MMA, is using her time off from the PFL octagon to deal with the attention and a question she keeps answering: when will she move to the UFC to face Valentina Shevchenko ? The British fighter was crowned world flyweight champion (up to 56,7kg) of the league last month, after submitting Brazilian Taila Santos in the second round, subsequently earning a check for US$1 million (approximately R$6.295 million at the exchange rate).
Dakota's hype stems from her undefeated record in professional MMA, with 14 wins and no losses, ten of those wins coming in the first round. Given the somewhat questionable quality of PFL athletes, many would like to see 'Dangerous' exchanging blows with the UFC's number 1 pound-for-pound female fighter, Valentina Shevchenko . Being part of the same team as Kayla Harrison , who migrated from the PFL to the Ultimate, many fans expect the 26-year-old fighter to make the same move.

In an interview with the British channel Talk Sport, Dakota responded to a question about a possible fight against Shevchenko and revealed that she would be more than ready for a fight with the queen of the UFC.
“I think I would do really well. People always ask me about [Shevchenko], but, I mean, she’s my best fighter out there. So I’ll always give her all the respect. She’s been the champion for years and years… I’m not there yet. I’m still 26 [years old]. These girls are like 31,32, XNUMX. So I have to humble myself a little bit,” she explained.
Even so, the British fighter, who trains with the 'American Top Team' in Coconut Creek, Florida, alongside names like the current UFC flyweight champion, Alexandre Pantoja , maintained her courage and good humor when facing Shevchenko.
“I definitely could and I would. You put me in a cage and I’ll go against anyone. Someone posted a funny video on [social media] saying, ‘Give her [Francis] Ngannou,’ and I would try that if I could,” he added.

Despite being a dedicated and high-level athlete, Dakota leaves room for discipline to be thrown out the window on occasion. Whenever she leaves a fight, she looks for an item that can be found anywhere, but which, for 'Dangerous', has a special flavor at the famous fast food chain McDonald's.
“After every fight, I always have a McDonald’s Coke. It seems like that’s the only thing I ever reach for… just a Coke, I don’t care about food. The whole camp I just crave Coke on tap and I’m not even a carbonated drinker. It’s really weird. I’m on water all the time,” the athlete revealed.
For now, Dakota has denied having had any conversations with the UFC or PFL about his future.
