The UFC's 2024 schedule ended with the UFC Tampa, last Saturday (14), but that does not mean that the actions have ended in the combat sports season. Protagonists of one of the most anticipated rematches in recent years in the noble art, Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury put on a show of tension in a historic face-off to further increase fans' expectations for the duel scheduled for this Saturday (21), in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
After the event's press conference, Usyk and Fury walked, as usual, to the front of the stage for the traditional staredown. What no one expected was that the rivals would simply refuse to break eye contact and remain face to face, impassive, for more than ten uninterrupted minutes. After six minutes of staring down, an event employee stood between the two and tried to divert the fighters' attention, without success.
