Tyson Fury suffered the second defeat of his historic boxing career on Saturday night (21), at the Kingdom Arena, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was also the second defeat against Oleksandr Usyk, who won by unanimous decision of the judges to defend the WBA, WBC and WBO heavyweight titles.
But according to Fury's calculations, the outcome of the fight was different. The 'King of the Gypsies' told his former trainer Ben Davison backstage that he believed he was winning for several rounds.

“Honestly, I swear to God, I thought I had won for at least three rounds. I dominated the fight with my right foot. Everyone in the corner believed we were winning,” Fury said. (see video below)

According to experts, there is no chance that the British boxer would have won the fight by three rounds, but as everyone knows, professional fighters can be a bit deluded, especially when the fight is very close. Even if someone in the camp believed that Fury won the fight, it would have happened by one round at most. In the first fight, when he lost by split decision, the 'King of the Gypsies' also believed that he had the advantage.

Fury doubled down in the post-fight press conference and claimed the judges gave Usyk a 'Christmas present' when asked if he felt Usyk's charge towards the end of the round.
“I didn’t feel any spirit. I felt a bit of Christmas spirit there and I think he got a little Christmas present from the judges. I was pretty confident. I thought I won that fight again. I thought I won both fights, but again I still have two losses on my record. There’s not much I can do about it. I can just fight with my heart and do the best I can. Again, I will always believe until the day I die that I won that fight,” Fury said.
At 37, Usyk has an impeccable record, with 23 wins and no losses. In addition to his success in professional boxing, he also won the gold medal in the heavyweight category at the 2012 Olympic Games. On the other hand, Fury, a year younger, suffered the second defeat of his career, now accumulating 34 wins, one draw and two losses.
