Jamahal Hill appears to be charting a new course in his UFC career. With a fight scheduled for January 18th at UFC 311 against Jiri Prochazka , the American is already showing ambitious plans for the future, including a possible move up to the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg).
In an interview with the website 'GiveMeSport', Hill revealed that he is at the appropriate weight to compete at the 120,2kg limit of the division and made it clear that he aims for a fight with the current interim champion, Tom Aspinall . He joked about his willingness to face the biggest names in the heavyweight category.

“I’m a big guy, a big dog. If power is not an issue, what matters is who will land the first punch,” said the fighter.
Hill also highlighted that the key to success in fights is strategy and the ability to hit your opponent before you are hit.
“No matter how strong you are, if I hit you first, that’s what counts,” he commented.
While plans for the heavyweight division gain momentum, the fighter still has an important commitment ahead. Jamahal will face Czech Jiri Prochazka in a crucial fight for his future aspirations in the UFC. The American, who suffered a devastating knockout against Alex Poatan in April of this year, makes no secret of his desire to seek a rematch against the Brazilian if he wins.
