Jiri Prochazka e Jamahal hill face off in a duel of former light heavyweight champions (up to 93 kg) on the main card of UFC 311, which takes place in Los Angeles on January 18. Both were brutally knocked out by the current champion Alex Poatán in their recent fights and need a win to get back into the game of getting a shot at the belt. Since the announcement of the fight, the American adopted a provocative style and pointed out flaws in the Czech's game, who, in turn, claims not to care about the comments.
In an interview with 'MMA Fighting', Prochazka stated that he does not attach importance to provocations from Jamahal hill, as he believes they reflect more about Hill than him. According to the Czech, Hill does not know him personally, only his fighting style, and his comments are out of context.

“I don’t care what he’s saying because it’s not mainly about me; it just shows what’s in his head. Man, I don’t care what people say about me because when you know how it works, how the mentality of the human body works, you know how people talk about other people and why they talk about it, especially when he doesn’t know me personally. He only knows my fighting style, and in that he’s completely off with his comments,” Prochazka explained.
Jiri Prochazka says he sees provocations as a sign of weakness
Jiri Prochazka He also stated that he does not mind provocations because he believes that a truly confident man does not need to speak ill of others, extol his own strengths or point out weaknesses in the opponent. For him, this shows weakness, while true power lies in taking action and proving one's superiority with actions.
“That’s why I don’t care about these provocations. Do you know what a truly confident man, a real man is like? He doesn’t need to talk s**t about others, or talk about his strengths and his opponent’s weaknesses, because he’s confident enough not to. For me, that’s the real power of a man. That’s it. I don’t want to talk… I want to talk about others, but why should I? I see it as a weakness, talking s**t about my opponents. I’m going out there, I’m going to show my best and prove to the world that I’m the best. My actions will speak,” Jiri concluded.
