After retiring undefeated, Khabib Nurmagomedov has transitioned from fighter to MMA coach. While he has masterfully guided his teammates to success, the former champion has admitted that the new role isn't exactly his favorite.

“I don’t like training, but I have to be here. It’s going to be a really big night for us at UFC 311, with Tagir, Umar for the title and Islam defending his belt. I can't stay at home; I have to be here, but I don't like it,” said Khabib.

Khabib Nurmagomedov has hung up his gloves with a record of 29 wins and no losses. The former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) is widely considered one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time. His accomplishments were further solidified with his induction into the UFC Hall of Fame in June 2022.
