Henry Cejudo couldn't contain himself and burst into laughter at Chael Sonnen 's speech to Colby Covington after his loss at UFC Tampa on December 14th. In the organization's final event of the year, 'Chaos' was stopped by Joaquin Buckley . A medical intervention in the third round ended the fight. In Cejudo's opinion, Sonnen resorted to 'gaslighting'.

“It was great. Everything was going great. The tide was turning. I’m not buying it. No way, man. It was a great fight and you fought really hard. You’re probably looking at the bonuses for the night. That was a really good fight you guys just put on. You should be really proud of that,” Sonnen told his protégé after the fight.
Henry Cejudo commented on the 'psychological lecture' on his YouTube channel. And, of course, he disagreed with everything.
“I want to talk about Uncle Chael, man… Uncle Chael is here gaslighting Colby Covington , thinking that Colby Covington won 'Fight of the Night,' thinking that he’s going to get the next title shot right after being knocked out by Joaquin Buckley ,” said the bantamweight (up to 61,2kg).

Shedding light on the reality of what the fight was, the former UFC champion recalled that Colby's corner was about to 'throw in the towel' when the doctor intervened and stopped the fight.
“Man, Uncle Chael can sell ice to an Eskimo… Jesus Christ! Was the tide turning? No. Did he deserve the bonus? No. Uncle Chael could sell ice to a damn Eskimo. Come on, ladies and gentlemen. Uncle Chael is promoting this guy like you wouldn’t believe. Makes me think he’s drinking something thinking he’s always right,” Cejudo said.
"I have to give credit to the one and only Uncle Chael Sonnen : He wins again for being the best salesman in the whole damn world of MMA. But unfortunately, Colby Covington didn't win that damn bonus," he concluded.
