Renato Moicano is all set for the UFC 311, scheduled for next January 18th, where he faces Beneil Dariush. However, the Brazilian surprised everyone by revealing that he is ready to go further and take on an even greater challenge. If Arman Tsarukyan ou Islam makhachev are unable to compete in the main fight of the night, he makes himself available to replace and fight for the lightweight belt (up to 70,3 kg), even if that means fighting for free.

In his podcast 'Show me the Money', Moicano demonstrated absolute confidence and willingness to face any scenario. The Brazilian doesn't mind the extra pay that usually accompanies a title fight - he just wants the chance to face Makhachev, because he believes he has the strategy necessary to beat the champion.

“I’ll answer the first question with the second. I would fight for free for that belt, brother. 100% I would fight for free. If they ask me how much I don’t care, brother, just give me the regular pay, because I’m not going to lose to Islam makhachev, brother,” declared the fighter.

Moicano's statement reveals his confidence in his own abilities and in his in-depth study of Makhachev's game. He knows that the fight against Makhachev will not be easy, but he is prepared to become champion, whether against Dariush or by chance as a substitute for the protagonists.

“I have the answer to his technique and I know what he’s going to do, it’s just a matter of time. I know people don’t believe me, but as I always say, I don’t care. On January 18th, if it’s not against Dariush, it’ll be for the belt, and that’s why they’re putting me on the same ticket. I’m ready,” he concluded.

Renato Moicano, who has 20 wins and five losses, has also proven himself in his career in the UFC, in addition to being ranked tenth in the lightweight rankings (up to 70,3 kg). He has four consecutive triumphs.
