Amidst intense debates about who should make the valuable list of the greatest athletes ever seen in MMA history, Alexander Volkanovski didn't hesitate to seize the opportunity to praise Israel Adesanya . A training partner of the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg), the Australian included the fighter alongside names like Jon Jones and Anderson Silva.
“(…) I’m going to say Demetrious Johnson . I’ll have to put Jon Jones in there. Everyone knows my opinion about the problem outside of him, but he just became champion, he’s been at the top forever (…) So, Demetrious Johnson , Jon Jones , Georges St-Pierre. St-Pierre definitely has to be there. I’ll have to include Anderson Silva , and I’ll include my boy Israel Adesanya as well. Many titles and when it comes to strikes, I honestly think he’s the greatest striker the UFC has ever seen. Therefore, I’ll choose Israel Adesanya as well,” Volkanovski declared on his YouTube channel.
