Former welterweight champion (up to 77kg.), Leon edwards returns to the octagon this Saturday (22) to face Sean brady in the main fight of UFC London, at the O2 Arena. The clash marks 'Rocky's' attempt to bounce back after losing the belt to Belal Muhammad | in July 2024. In a recent interview, the British revealed his admiration for Anderson Silva, whom he considers the 'greatest of all time'.
In an interview with TNT Sports, a UFC partner, Edwards did not hide the influence of Anderson Silva in your career.

In addition to praising 'Spider', Leon highlighted the confrontation between Cain Velazquez e Junior Gypsy 2, which took place at UFC 155 in 2012, is considered the pinnacle in the history of the sport. On that occasion, the American regained the heavyweight belt after five rounds of absolute dominance, reversing the knockout he suffered in the first fight in 2010.
Cain's strategy, based on rhythm control and constant pressure, neutralized Cigano's power and secured the victory by unanimous decision.

Leon Edwards returns to UFC
Almost eight months after the defeat that stripped him of the welterweight title, Leon edwards seeks to restart its trajectory in UFC London. The card, scheduled for March 22, 2025, will feature the British fighter as the protagonist against the American. Sean brady, currently 5th in the division rankings.
