ONE Championship has announced the cancellation of its card for Friday (28) in Bangkok, Thailand. An earthquake in Myanmar was the reason for the cancellation. According to authorities, the tremors reached a magnitude of 7,7.

The earthquake is the most intense in the area since 1991. The foreign minister of Myanmar's parallel government, which opposes the military junta that rules the country, announced 12 deaths. A hospital in the capital Naypyitaw reported that the death toll now stands at 20, according to AFP.
In Thailand, tremors brought down a building under construction in Bangkok (see below). At least three people died. Rescue teams are searching for more than 80 missing people under the rubble.

A skyscraper has collapsed in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. More than 40 people are trapped in the rubble, according to the agency.

ONE Friday Fights 102 had 12 fights scheduled on the card that was to be held at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, including the Muay Thai main event between Rambong Sor Terapat and Pompetch.
ONE has another event scheduled for next Friday (4) in Bangkok, with fights for the Muay Thai title. The organization has not yet said whether this card will proceed as planned.
