In an August 2023 interview with Espaitec's 'Believe you meIn an interview hosted by former boxer Michael Bisping, Aspinall recounted an intense bar fight he had to break up one night. The brawl resulted in a brutal scene, one he has never forgotten.

“I was working the door at a really cool bar. [It was] starting, people were fighting inside. So we ran inside, and as we were running, a guy was biting another guy’s nose,” the fighter recalled.

However, as the champion reported, the situation became even more visceral after the bullies were expelled from the establishment.

“He went to spit, and when he was going to spit, his friend said, 'Don't spit it out, because he'll be able to sew it back up.' So the guy swallowed his nose,” Aspinall concluded.
