Paddy Pimblett showed that besides being a warrior inside the octagon, he also has a noble heart outside of it. The British lightweight (up to 70,3kg) had the most important fight since joining the organization last Saturday (12), when he faced Michael Chandler in the co-main event of UFC 314 , in Miami (USA). 'The Baddy' won in the third round after a technical knockout and remains undefeated in the UFC with seven wins in seven fights.

Right after the fight, Pimblett sought out Chandler backstage at UFC 314. The British fighter posted a video on YouTube showing him visiting the American in the locker room to thank him for the fight.

“Thank you very much, young man, for sharing that octagon with me,” Pimblett said.

Chandler responded with a 'Congratulations, man', before the Brit shook hands with 'Iron's' wife and one of his sons.

“I hope you’re doing well, little man. Once again, Mike, thank you for showing up and sharing this octagon with me. I really appreciate it,” Pimblett added. (watch below)

Last Saturday's victory propelled Paddy Pimblett up to eighth place in the lightweight rankings. On the other hand, Michael Chandler , who has suffered three consecutive defeats, dropped five positions and is now 12th.

After his loss to Pimblett, Chandler was heavily criticized and even advised to retire from the octagon. However, 'Iron' downplayed the setback and said he considers himself a winner.
