“Back then, I felt like I could… if I didn’t fight whoever I wanted. ‘Do you want to fight? Okay, let’s fight?’ Some people you fought, some people you said, ‘Let’s not get hurt,’ and some people you knew you were going to fight. Guys get knocked out all the time. I saw dozens of fighters get knocked out in the gym. I did it a lot. It was scary. You’d be super nervous before class. If you’re smart, you’re training three or four days a week. You have to stay sharp,” he explained.

Even though he always tries to maintain control, Rogan recalled an extreme situation involving a fighter from New Jersey (USA).

“I broke his face, and he wanted to keep training, and he was still coming after me. I was like, ‘Man, you gotta look in the mirror.’ His face had completely changed. I gave him a spinning kick to the cheek. He fell down, his eyes rolled back, and he passed out. Then he tried to get up, slowly. He gets up and says, ‘I’m fine.’ Then about 30 seconds later, he wants to keep training. I’m like, ‘You gotta stop.’ But he was a monster, a savage,” Rogan recalled.

Joe Rogan has been in the UFC for 28 years. The commentator recently revealed which the only situation which would make him leave Dana White's organization.
