The first defeat in his career BoNickal was one of the episodes that marked the UFC Des Moines this Saturday (3). The middleweight (up to 83,9kg), considered one of the best wrestlers active in the USA, was brutally knocked out by Ridder's Reinier in the second round of the event's co-main event and had his hype ended.

However, the defeat of BoNickal raises an intriguing question. The American was US President Donald Trump's third 'favorite' fighter to lose brutal way since he was re-elected. (see Nickal's knockout below)
There's nothing to say, just look at this shit lol
Q o BoNickal be prepared to suffer the virtual murder that will come nextpic.twitter.com/AtnQD0xzsZ

During the election period, Trump and the UFC went hand in hand. In addition to their friendship with the organization's president, Dana White, several fighters supported the Republican in his journey to the White House. Some of them are even part of the group created by Trump, 'MAGA' – Make America Great Again. And since he took over the leadership of the country, luck has not been on their side.
On April 12, Trump was at the UFC 314, in Miami, and saw two of his 'darlings' get massacred in the octagon. One of them was the controversial Bryce mitchell, who even said that he would 'die fighting in battle for Trump'. And he almost did, when he was brutally finished off by Jean Silva in the second round.
The other was Michael chandler, one of the leaders of 'MAGA' and who fought the co-main fight against Paddy Pimblett. The veteran lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) was neutralized by the British and lost after suffering a technical knockout. It was 'Iron's' fifth defeat in seven UFC fights.
Nickal was the latest to be affected by the 'curse'. The fighter has been strengthening ties with Trump since 2019, when they met at the White House. The US president even told UFC commentator Joe Rogan that he admires the athlete.
Curse or not, the fact is that BoNickal saw his defeat record go from zero to zero and now he will have to show whether he will go down the path of overcoming or freefall. As for Trump, it would be advisable to support 'his fighters' in secret.
