After Daniel Cormier accuse Alex Poatán of having lied about the hacker attack to express outrage at Ultimate's actions, Magomed Ankalayev took the opportunity to irritate the Brazilian even more. On his social media, the Russian revealed that he had received an offer to fight in UFC 317 and gave an ultimatum to his great rival.

“I was offered to fight Alex at International Fight Week, if the man doesn’t want to, let’s move on, I’m ready for anything. I challenge you,” Ankalaev said on his official X account.

With the Russian's statement, the pieces fit with the revelation made by Cormier last week. According to the commentator, the reason for Poatan allegedly using social media to attack the UFC is due to the fact that the Brazilian did not approve the request to perform on June 28, in order to enhance the event.

After losing to Ankalaev, Poatan stated that August would be the ideal time to carry out an immediate rematch. So far it is not known what actions will be taken by the organization regarding the next challenge of the light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg).
