Em video posted on his YouTube channel this Monday (12), the former Ultimate middleweight champion said that Muhammad's fierce performance in the UFC 315 may have been enough to win over some new fans, even with the setback.

“Yes, he lost the belt, but I think his value, in a strange way, has gone up even more, even though he is not a champion. This may seem strange, but from a general perception point of view of the fans, I think they now have more respect for the Belal Muhammad |”, Bisping said.

Muhammad was defeated by unanimous decision and left the octagon with injuries to his nose and upper lip. For the hard-fought fight, both fighters won the Fight of the Night award and took home US$50 (R$284, at the current exchange rate). This was the second time that the Palestinian fighter took home the bonus in 20 fights in the organization.
