Since the first edition, held in 2022, the Fight Music Show aims to mix sport and entertainment, presenting fans with duels between influencers and artists, but also martial arts legends, such as four-time world boxing champion Acelino Popó Freitas, present in six editions, and Rogério Minotouro. Recently retired from MMA, José Aldo is one of the names the organization is targeting for the next editions.
Former featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg) and Ultimate legend, José Aldo announced retirement after defeat to Aiemann Zahabi, at UFC 315, on May 10th. In an exclusive interview with SUPER LUTAS, Mamá Brito, founder and CEO of Fight Music Show, expressed interest in having the 'King of Rio' in a duel of legends against Popó in the future.

“Very (interested in having) José Aldo). My wife talked about it today. She is my matchmaker for serious fights (laughs). She said we have to bring Aldo, because he has stopped now. I would really like Aldo to fight with us against Popó. It is a matter of talking now. I have already spoken to Aldo so that when he stops, he will remember us. It would be an honor”, declared Mamá.
An eventual duel between José Aldo and Popó would certainly have a good dose of rivalry. The two legends have already starred in a 'war' of provocations for about three years.
