the fight between Rodolfo Bellato e Paul Craig, initially scheduled for UFC Vegas 106, is already scheduled to be rescheduled. The duel, which was scheduled to take place last Saturday (17), had to be rescheduled because the athletic commission banned the Brazilian from stepping into the octagon due to herpes.
Participating in the podcast 'Believe You Me', Paul Craig Craig spoke of his frustration at having his fight canceled minutes before entering the cage. The Scot said he found it strange to see Hunter Campbell in the locker room, moments before being informed that Bellato had been pulled from the fight. Craig also spoke about the hassle he went through backstage.

“Hunter Campbell walked into the room and I was like, ‘Wow, this is really unusual.’” “I didn’t understand why he was there, he never comes in to wish me luck. He came in and said, ‘Look, your opponent has been pulled because of a skin infection. It’s tough. Have you ever been in that situation where you’re literally ready to go in? Like, 30 minutes before. It’s almost surreal. You get frustrated, you want to kick things, punch things. Everything you’ve worked for up until that point is kind of ripped away from you.” Paul Craig.

Paul Craig explained that the UFC promised to reschedule the fight and fulfilled its promise, rescheduling the fight for June. However, he stressed that it is not the same thing, since, after an intense camp, having to start another period of preparation for more weeks is exhausting.
“They said, ‘Look, we’re going to take care of you, we’re going to reschedule this fight,’ and the fight was rescheduled. It’s going to happen within the month of June, but it’s not the same. When you do a 12-week camp and then have to go back home and do another four-, five-, six-week camp, it’s not fun. But that’s part of the business, and I’m in the fight game.”
Signed through the Contender Series, Rodolfo Bellato would make his 13th fight in his career, his third in the UFC, in a confrontation against Paul Craig, only fighter to defeat Magomed Ankalayev, but is going through a complicated phase, with three consecutive defeats and six in the last seven fights.
