I have wanted to apologize for several years, but it just wasn’t right. It’s a complex situation, it takes time, but I have to say that this has been bothering me,” Sonnen said in a statement. post on Instagram.
“I would like to extend this apology to their children. Children were not present, but I have children. Reverse the roles and think of me as a child with my own parents. I have to tell you: you deserve an apology, and I sincerely apologize to you.”
