Jean Silva denies any rumor that he turned down a UFC fight. After showing superiority and finalize Bryce mitchell, in one of the biggest fights of his career, 'Lord' began to be considered one of the biggest names in the UFC featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg). The undefeated Brazilian, with 5 victories in the Ultimate, even caught the attention of the champion Alexander Volkanovsky and became the target of rumors to face several opponents, among them Diego lopes.
In a video published on his YouTube channel, Jean Silva was asked if he would have refused any proposal to face Diego lopes. In response, 'Lord' denied it and stated that he had not even known about this possibility until then. However, he said that he would seek more information and speak directly with Diego to better understand the situation, emphasizing that he was not afraid or concerned about confronting anyone.

“No, are you crazy? I haven’t even heard about this fight. I’m going to look for this information and call Diego: ‘Hey, brother, do you know about this? Are we going to fight? What’s the deal?’ Because I don’t deny anything.”, he explained. Jean Silva.
Although the duel is not under negotiation, Jean Silva believes that due to the lack of alternatives, there is a good chance of being paired with Diego lopes. In this scenario, he showed confidence and stated that he will 'break' his rival.
“I'm going to break him if this fight happens… He's left to get chewed up like that,” concluded 'Lord'.
Hired through Contender Series, Jean Silva has five stoppage wins in his five UFC fights. Currently, 'Lord' is ranked 11th in the division. Diego lopes, in turn, debuted in the Ultimate in a test of fire against Movsar Evloev and, after losing to the Russian, he won five times until he was stopped by Volkanovski in his first title fight.
