Historical rival of Jon Jones, Daniel Cormier speculated on Tuesday (27) what would be the reason why the heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg) would not open the doors to Tom aspinall. The fight is highly anticipated by fans because it would be worth unifying the belts, as the British fighter has been the interim champion since 2023. The wait is long and has turned into revolt among some UFC fans. One petition arrived to go viral asking for Jones' title to be stripped, since he has blocked the possibility of a duel with Aspinall. The fighter responded with irony. The petition already has more than 60 thousand signatures.
