Amid the crisis in the UFC's heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg), the Brazilian Walter Walker launches controversial theory: Jon Jones would be purposefully postponing the fight against Tom aspinall to force him to face dangerous rivals and arrive exhausted for the eventual confrontation.
In an interview with 'Sexto Round', Walker, who is part of the promotion's heavyweight roster, detailed the linear champion's alleged plan.

“This year I think Jon Jones do not fight against Tom aspinall. Maybe next year, for a fortune. He's going to force Aspinall to fight someone shady. It's going to be a tough fight, Aspinall comes out injured and Jones says: 'Now I'll fight. It has to be in two months'", said the Brazilian.
Representing the country in the heavyweight division, Johnny's brother analyzed the situation in his category, which is at an impasse. Jon Jones 'locked' the division after not wanting to face Aspinall, while a petition is being created, which has already gathered more than 100 thousand signatures, for the UFC to strip him of his belt.
'Bones', however, doesn't seem to care. The champion shares videos of himself drinking coconut water, mocks questions about his return and claims to profit from other people's 'desperation'. The British, who is already the longest-serving interim belt holder in the history of Dana White's company, is challenged by other names, such as Cyryl Gane e Jailton Malhadinho, to stay active.
