As the world awaits the decision of Jon Jones about a possible fight against Tom aspinall for the unification of the UFC's linear and interim heavyweight belts, the champion himself still seems unsure about what the future holds for him.
In an interview with YouTuber Vic Blends, Jon Jones left the future open when asked if fans can expect another fight from him.

“I don’t know what it will hold for me as far as fighting and competing. I feel like I’ll be a martial artist for life, whether it’s training others, doing exhibition fights and things like that. There are still great challenges in the UFC. I see myself as more than just a fighter. Being in my position, I feel like I have a lot more options than most other fighters, with the ability to come and go and things like that,” he replied.
After spending a season in Thailand, where he recorded a Russian reality show similar to The Ultimate Fighter, Jon Jones assured that the UFC is aware of all his plans and said he was surprised that the organization had not yet revealed them. The champion then showed that he was in no rush to resolve the situation.
“Right now I’m focusing on love, happiness, kindness. We’re at the quarter century mark and this year should be really special. This year I’m saying yes to more opportunities, traveling more, being consciously kinder to people. That’s my mindset right now: just love, kindness, peace, focusing on family and focusing on myself, on my aura,” he concluded.
