The main fight of ufc vegas 107 across Erin Blanchfield e Maycee barber was canceled minutes before it took place this Saturday (31), due to a medical problem involving Barber. The organization announced the fighter's withdrawal without specifying the nature of the unforeseen event.
The withdrawal came after a weigh-in process marked by significant incidents. Barber had already had difficulties the day before when he registered 57,4 kg, half a kilo above the limit allowed for non-title fights in the flyweight category (56,7 kg).

As a penalty, the Colorado athlete had lost 20% of her purse, transferred to her opponent Blanchfield, and the duel was rescheduled as 'catchweight'.
This last-minute cancellation deepened the turmoil on an already damaged card. The event previously lost the fight between Trevin giles e Andreas Gustafsson after the American suffered a fall and hit his head during the weight loss process.
With this, the ufc vegas 107 ended with nine fights. The event had five Brazilians, with victories of Ketlen Scallop e Allan Puro Osso. Jafel Filho, Bruno Lopes e Rayanne dos Santos were defeated.
