There is no MMA fan who isn't eager to see Alex Poatán back in the octagon. The Brazilian was defeated by unanimous decision in the UFC 313 and thus, Magomed Ankalayev won the light heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg). Despite the expectation of a rematch, UFC Hall of Famer Don Frye warns: the former champion may need to step on the brakes.

“Well, if you’re hurt, take some time off and heal. I never did that. I always took the pills and kept, you know, fighting it,” Frye said in interview ao 'Submission Radio'.
The star used her own experience to send the message to Alex Poatán, who fought three times last year alone and got all of those fights at the last minute.
“That ended up ruining my career. I found out that the prosecutor doesn’t give a shit. They don’t give a shit about you. I never got a single Christmas card or a birthday card from any prosecutor,” Don said.
“And I made them all a lot of money,” Frye added. “I almost died in the hospital a few times and nobody ever called me and said, ‘How are you? I hope you get better.’”
