Caio Borralho have full confidence that Paulo borrachinha has a golden opportunity to prove that he deserves to be at the top level of the middleweight division (up to 83,9kg). The Minas Gerais native, who has won only one of his last five fights, is scheduled to face Roman Kopylov No. UFC 317. And, to have his arm raised, in the 'Nerd's' opinion, he needs to go back to being the “old Borrachinha”.

“Stylistically, I think this fight is good for Borrachinha. Because Kopylov doesn’t like to be pressured, he’s afraid of taking a beating and, when he’s pressured, he falls… He (Borrachinha) has to put pressure on. He’s coming off four losses in his last five fights. He can say he’ll earn a million or whatever, but if he loses this one again, he’ll be out. He’s not delivering anything to the company,” he said. Caio Borralho highlighted that, despite the bad phase, Borrachinha still has great potential to shine in the UFC, but, for that, he needs to rescue the aggressive style he showed at the beginning of his career.

“He (Borrachinha) has a lot of potential and a great chance of winning this fight, if he fights like he did in the Old Testament. He already has the hype, there are already people who like him, and if he goes out there and beats Kopylov, everyone will be like: 'He's back',” concluded the representative of Fighting Nerds.

Borrachinha debuted in the UFC in 2017 and, in his first four fights, accumulated four knockouts. In the fifth, he won Yoel romero in a true war inside the octagon, consolidating himself as one of the main names in the division.

Paulo Costa's sixth UFC fight was against Israel adesanya, for the middleweight belt. However, the Brazilian was unable to find the Nigerian inside the cage, was knocked out in the second round and, since then, has never been able to find his good performances again.
