“I think it will be a very cool grappling fight, with a lot of exchanges of blows, a lot of cool positions to face. But I will be happy if he fights a few rounds with Dricus (du Plessis) so I can study more. To be honest, I think there are better fighters (than Chimaev) in the category. More complete guys, Imavov, he is very complete. He moves very well, he is very relaxed and intelligent when he fights. I think it could be a harder fight. But Khamzat is, of course, a great fighter,” he said. Ridder's Reinier em interview to the 'Home of Fight'.

Are we giving him too much credit? Everyone’s like, ‘Oh, he’s Muslim, he’s got a beard, he can fight.’ Are we giving him the credit that Khabib has? No one is like Khabib,” Thomson told Reuters. channel 'We Want Picks'.
