Looking to return to the octagon after almost a year of inactivity, Caio Borralho demonstrates that he is attentive to all opportunities that arise to provoke rivals. Determined to dig a duel against Nassourdine Imavov, the Brazilian once again provoked the French prospect after the UFC announced its return to Paris in September.
“I heard that Nassourdine’s nickname is SNIPER. Now it all makes sense… the sniper is the one that no one sees. He’s always hiding,” Caio declared on his official X account.

The provocation is due to the fighter's recent refusal to fight Borralho. According to Imavov, it is not worth giving the sixth-placed middleweight (up to 83,9kg) an opportunity while he is in first place in the reigning pro division. Dricus Du Plessis. So far, the Frenchman has not commented on his rival's comment.
Undefeated in the organization and eager to win the belt in the category, Borralho expresses great frustration as he is unable to find an opponent. As far as is publicly known, the last offer he received was to face Sean Strickland, but just like the Brazilian, the former champion also denied the opportunity, stating that the relationship is one of great friendship.
Victorious before Israel adesanya In his last appearance, Imavov was chosen to be a reserve fighter for UFC 318, in the title fight between Dricus and Khamzat Shimaev, on July 19th.
