Jon Jones won the vacant title in March 2023, but defended the belt only once, against Stipe Miocic in November 2024. The petition already has more than 170 thousand signatures.
Meanwhile, Tom aspinall, interim champion, has waited more than 500 days for a chance at unification, an absolute record in UFC history.
