With just eight seconds left in the round, Peña could not resist the force imposed by her rival and decided to give up so as not to injure her arm. No longer the bantamweight champion, the fighter left the octagon without giving an interview after being consoled by her team and Harrison, who downplayed any friction and thanked her for the opportunity.

This was Harrison's second submission victory in the UFC. Clearly thrilled with her achievement, the athlete took the opportunity to challenge Amanda nunes in the octagon and has already confirmed that her next appearance will be against a Brazilian.
