Poatan reveals possible dates for rematch against Ankalaev and adjustments to overcome the Russian in the UFC

Alex Poatán is confident that he will wear the UFC belt again after his rematch against Magomed Ankalayev. The Brazilian, who defended the light heavyweight title on three occasions, guarantees that he is 100% focused on correcting his mistakes. last fight, even though the next one doesn't have a set date yet.

“Regaining the title is definitely my focus. It’s what I want most and it’s what’s going to happen… We haven’t talked about it yet, but we know more or less when it will be: September, October or November. It doesn’t matter to me, but this date is perfect,” said Poatan.

Regarding the adjustments needed for the rematch, Poatan rules out radical changes to his fighting style. The champion believes that the way forward is to maintain the base that took him to the top of the category, correcting only technical details and perfecting specific aspects of his game.
