Defeated in his rematch against Merab Dvalishvili, Sean O'Malley will not have an easy life to have at least the opportunity to fight for the belt again. The strong opinion was given by Daniel Cormier, who showed pessimism about the global star's continuation in his trajectory in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2 kg) starting from his next appearance in the octagon.

“He just lost twice to the champion. Until there is a change, it will be difficult for O’Malley to return for a title opportunity and he should find the path that Umar Nurmagomedov in front of you. It won't be easy for Sean O'Malley”, Cormier said in an interview with ESPN.
