The first ten minutes told a very favorable story for the Nigerian. Even though Buckley tried to land good strikes while standing, Usman had no trouble getting the takedown and controlling his opponent on the ground, without running the risk of being knocked out or losing control positions. With effective strikes on the ground, the former champion even opened a cut on his opponent's eyebrow.

In addition, the American also started to risk more side kicks, but was unable to frustrate his opponent's game, who once again succeeded in taking down and controlling the Knockout Man in the grappling fight.

Realizing the need to be more aggressive, the American came even more aggressive in the fourth round. Despite being hit by good blows at close range, Usman remained calm and precise on his feet. Following the strategy of the previous rounds, the Nigerian took his opponent to the ground again.

In the last round, Buckley became even more aggressive and successfully defended all of the Nigerian Nightmare's takedown attempts. He landed some good punches, but was unable to seriously hurt his opponent. At the end of the fight, all the judges scored the Nigerian Nightmare the winner.

Rose namajunas returned to the winning column by breaking Miranda Marverick's hot streak in the co-main event with a unanimous decision victory. The former strawweight champion (up to 52,1 kg.) bounced back from a loss to Erin Blanchfield last year and achieved his third triumph in the fly division (up to 56,7 kg).

The former champion used a variety of strikes throughout the fight. While Rose tried to confuse her opponent, Miranda used her strength and aggression to intimidate her rival. The fight had a key moment in the second round, which was fought mostly on the ground. Rose managed a beautiful takedown as a counterattack to her opponent's approach and spent a few moments working inside her rival's guard. She came close to finishing the fight with a rear naked choke, but it was reversed and she found herself threatened by a katagatame in the final seconds of the round.

After the successful grappling, Miranda attempted a takedown against the fence early in the final round. Rose successfully defended the attacks and took advantage after her opponent suffered an injury to her left leg and landed a left cross to her opponent's temple. She remained on top for most of the round and emerged victorious after all the judges scored her victory at the end of the 15-minute duel.

With great timing and intelligent movement, Shahbazyan was very successful in calmly defending his opponent's takedowns, as well as connecting quick counterattacks. Petroski, on the other hand, stood firm in the center of the octagon and sought to intimidate his opponent with strong punches.

After dealing with Petroski's resistance and aggression in the first ten minutes, the pupil of Ronda Rousey Shahbazyan had no better moment in the third round. With a powerful kick to the waistline, the fighter came very close to convincing referee Kevin McDonald to stop the fight. At the end of the fight, Shahbazyan was declared the winner by unanimous decision of the judges.
