The first Brazilian participation in the UFC Atlanta ended without a result, but with a lot of controversy. Closing the preliminary card of this Saturday's event (14), in a duel valid for the light heavyweights (up to 93 kg), Rodolfo Bellato was knocked out by an illegal pedal stroke Paul Craig in the last second of the first round. After reviewing the move, the refereeing team ruled the blow unintentional and ruled the fight a 'no contest'.

Rodolfo Bellato started the fight controlling the center of the octagon, but was Paul Craig who struck first, with a kick to the waistline. After being interrupted, the action was reviewed and it was determined that the Scot's blow had been illegal, but unintentional, resulting in a 'no contest' (fight without a result).
In a duel of veterans, Michael Chiesa gets the better of Court McGee
The sixth fight of UFC Atlanta, valid for the welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg) brought a duel between veterans of the organization. At the end of the three rounds, Michael chiesa got the better of Court mcgee and came out with the victory in the unanimous decision of the judges (30-27, 30-27, 30-27). Faster, 'Maverick' controlled the fight at distance and came out victorious after 15 minutes of dominance without great emotions.
At 37 years old and in the UFC since 2012, Michael chiesa reached his third consecutive victory in the octagon, where he has not lost since July 2023.
At 40 years old and in Ultimate since 2010, Court mcgee suffered their fourth defeat in their last five appearances.
Fighting at home, Malcolm Wellmaker puts on a show with a brutal knockout
One of the biggest favorites UFC Atlanta in betting houses, Malcolm Wellmaker showed that such favoritism was not for nothing. Fighting 'at home', the American erased the Portuguese Kris moutinho with an impressive knockout in the first round of the duel, valid for the bantamweight division (up to 61,2 kg).
