In a promotional video released by ESPN MMA, Hill made it clear that he sees the duel against Rountree as the perfect opportunity to get back on track for the title. Confident, he highlighted that his fighting style is versatile and capable of neutralizing his opponent's main weapons, which, according to him, basically depends on his knockout power. 'Sweet Dreams' guaranteed that he intends to knock out Khalil and take another step towards recovering the belt.

“I’m a former champion. I see a way to get back into title contention. The Khalil rountree comes to do damage, but my fighting style can be the kryptonite to his style… I have the ability to win a fight in many ways. He only has one: it depends on one punch.
