This Saturday (21), Ultimate lands in Azerbaijan for the first time for the UFC Baku, with the light heavyweights (up to 93 kg) Jamahal hill e Khalil Rountree Jr. facing each other in the main fight. Former title challenger, the 'War Horse' appears as a slight favorite against the former champion in the bookmakers. UFC commentator, Din Thomas, however, has a different opinion.

In an interview with 'MMA Junkie', the commentator bet on a knockout victory for Jamahal hill and stated that he did not believe that the good performance of Khalil rountree against Alex Poatán become a constant in the career of the 'War Horse', who, according to Thomas, does not have the level to fight in the elite light heavyweight division.

“I am inclined to Jamahal hill knock out Khalil Rountre. The reason is that Khalil was fantastic against Alex Pereira, but that was his moment. Sometimes fighters have those moments and they go back to what they really are. I'm not saying Khalil is not a great fighter. He is very dangerous, but he went above and beyond against Alex Pereira, so we automatically assume that he has a new standard. I don't think so. I think he has outdone himself, he is a good and dangerous fighter, but he is not an elite fighter, he is not at the level of a champion”, analyzed Din Thomas.

The skills of Khalil rountree Jr will be put to the test this Saturday, in the duel against Jamahal hill in the main fight of UFC Baku, in the capital of Azerbaijan. The event starts at 13 pm (Brasília time).
