It seems that Khalil Rountree has already mapped out Jamahal Hill 's attacks before even entering the octagon, at least when those attacks come from his rival's mouth. The athletes face each other in the main fight of UFC Baku , scheduled for next Saturday (21), and, on the eve of the event, 'Sweet Dreams' did not mince words in stating how superior he considers himself to his opponent . However, this is a script that 'War Horse' has seen before.
In an interview with 'MMA Junkie', Rountree stated that he is not bothered by the way Jamahal Hill underestimates him, since his rival usually adopts this discourse against other opponents and, in the end, ends up defeated. Unfazed by 'Sweet Dreams' provocations, he assures that he is prepared for the fight.

Without stepping into the octagon since being defeated by Alex Poatan , Khalil Rountree hopes that a victory over Jamahal Hill will put him in a title fight by the end of the year, whether it's a rematch against the Brazilian, against Magomed Ankalaev , or whoever holds the title.
“By the end of the year, I would love to be there fighting for the belt again. Whether it’s against Alex or whoever. I don’t care who’s there, what matters is the belt, and my biggest dream is for that fight to happen in Vegas. I would love to fight for the belt in Vegas, at home, and have the chance to win it at home,” concluded Khalil Rountree.
Despite the provocations, it's not the best time for Jamahal Hill to declare himself superior before proving it inside the octagon. The American is coming off two consecutive knockout losses and, in the main event of UFC Baku , he will have the opportunity to get back on the winning track against Khalil Rountree.
