The victory in UFC Baku was the first of Klaudia Sygula in the organization. The Polish had debuted with a defeat to Melissa Mullins in November last year.

Valid for the flyweight division (up to 56,7 kg), the second fight of the UFC Baku excited the crowd in the capital of Azerbaijan. After three very busy rounds, Tagir Ulanbekov derrotou Azat Maksum by unanimous decision of the judges (29-28, 30-27, 30-27). Despite being the clear favorite for the fight, the Russian had a lot of difficulty dealing with the dynamism and impactful takedowns of the Kazakh, who made the defeat costly. The result, in fact, was highly contested by the audience in the arena right after the announcement.
Controversy or not, Tagir Ulabenkov has his fourth consecutive victory in the UFC and defends his 12th position in the flyweight rankings. Azat Maksum, on the other hand, suffers its second consecutive defeat and has not won since its debut in the organization, in July 2023.
