End of an era! At a press conference after the UFC Baku, held on Saturday night (21), Dana White revealed retirement from 'Bones' and announced Tom aspinall as the new linear heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg). According to the president of Ultimate, the decision was informed by the Jon Jones through a call last Friday (20).

'Bones' says goodbye to the octagon with 'GOAT' status (greatest in history), a legacy of victories over legends and while holding the heavyweight belt (up to 120,2 kg). Several names in combat sports spoke about the historic moment.

“Alex (Poatan) Pereira will fight Aspinall for the heavyweight title. I changed my mind,” he wrote Renato Moicano.

Gilberto Durinho showed surprise at the retirement by sharing several wide-eyed emojis.
