However much the relationship with Charles of the Bronx throughout the fight week it looks good, Ilia Topuria remains of the opinion that he will win the main duel of the UFC 317 via the fast track. For the former featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg), the Brazilian will probably feel the effects on his body of an aggressive fight even in the first interactions between the two, and this will dictate the course of the confrontation.

In an interview during the half day of the event next Saturday (28), the Georgian/Spanish said he believed Do Bronx's statements about adopting an aggressive stance from the first minute. However, he made it clear that he was not worried about the scenario.
“He has nothing to lose. I think he is telling the truth. From the first few seconds, I think (Charles) will try to advance, but what he wants is one thing and what he will get is another. I also want to go to heaven, but I don’t want to die,” said the fighter.

While the Georgian/Spanish fighter is undefeated as a professional fighter and has 14 wins in the fast lane, Charles is simply the greatest finisher in the history of the UFC. The duel between the two promises to be one of the most interesting of the year and in addition to crowning the new lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg), it could also catapult one of the two to a new level in terms of popularity within the sport.
