Charles of the Bronx takes action this Saturday (28), in the main fight of UFC 317, with the mission of recovering the lightweight belt (up to 70,3 kg), against the undefeated Ilia Topuria. In addition to the sporting challenge, the Brazilian has an impressive collection of records in the organization's history. Record holder for submissions, bonuses and victories by interruption, Do Bronx has already written his name among the greatest in the Ultimate.

With 16 completions in the octagon, Charles of the Bronx is the greatest finisher in UFC history, with three more than the second-place finisher, Jim Miller. Recognized for his offensive jiu-jitsu and versatility on the ground, the Brazilian has won by rear naked choke, guillotine, hand triangle, armbar, triangle and even a rare calf lock. Among his victims are names such as Dustin poirier, Justin gaethje and himself Jim Miller.

In addition to being the greatest finisher, Charles of the Bronx is the fighter with the most wins by stoppage — including knockouts and submissions — in UFC history. The Brazilian has 20 wins by stoppage, with 16 submissions and 4 knockouts, once again surpassing the American Jim Miller, who has 19 wins by interruption. Among the opponents knocked out by Do Bronx are Michael chandler, Beneil Dariush, Jarell Gordon and Nik lentz.
