At a similar time, Oumar Sy lost his unbeaten record in his last fight when he was stopped by the veteran Alonzo Menifield. A big favorite among bookmakers, the Frenchman was unable to impose a strategy on his rival and was defeated by the judges' unanimous decision. Considered a promising European prospect, the 29-year-old athlete currently has 11 wins and one loss in his professional career.
