New lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) after brutal knockout Charles of the Bronx in the main fight of UFC 317, Ilia Topuria comfortably led the list of highest-paid athletes at the event last Saturday (28). At least according to the estimated values published by the page 'Give Me Sport'.
According to the North American website, Topuria reportedly received $3,54 million (about R $ million 19,3 at the current rate), more than double the value attributed to the flyweight champion, Alexandre pantoja, owner of the second largest purse on the card: $ 1,74 million (about R $ million 9,4).
