Close to having a big fight in his career, Mauricio Ruffy does not waste the opportunity to heat up rivalry with Ilia Topuria. After sending a message to the lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) stating that he would knock him out in a potential meeting, the representative of Fighting Nerds excited his fans.
This Thursday, the athlete once again reinforced his goal of facing the Spanish-Georgian and received requests from internet users to avenge his defeat. Charles of the Bronx, where the Brazilian was knocked out by the champion in UFC 317. Without hesitation, Ruffy accepted the call and assured that victory would be for his people and compatriots.

Currently outside the top 15 of the lightweight division, Ruffy recently revealed that his next fight will be huge and will excite MMA fans. In addition to the track, the athlete confirmed that he will star in an unnumbered event, but avoided mentioning the names of potential opponents. Undefeated in the organization with three wins, the Nerd is expected to face someone close to the top 10 next.
On the other hand, Topuria has yet to comment on Ruffy's provocations. The lightweight champion has expressed interest in resolving differences with Paddy Pimblett Firstly, despite guaranteeing that he will do the fights that the agents and fans ask for.
