The plan to host one of the UFC events was revealed by Donald Trump last Thursday (5) during a speech to supporters in the state of Iowa. According to the President of the United States, the UFC White House would be part of an extensive celebration for the country's 250th anniversary of independence, which will be celebrated on July 4, 2026. Trump is a close friend of Dana White, president of the UFC.
“Does anyone watch UFC? The great Dana White. We’re going to have a UFC event on the White House lawn. We have a lot of land here. Dana is going to do it, he’s great, unique. We’re going to have a UFC event, a title fight, with 20, 25 thousand people. This will also be part of the 250th anniversary celebrations. We’re going to have incredible events. Some professional, some amateur, but the UFC is going to be one of the big ones,” he revealed.
