In a scene worthy of a comedy film, Arman Tsarukyan starred in an unusual moment during training this week. When executing a spinning kick, the fighter, who is one of the main names in the UFC lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg), hit his coach squarely, who was thrown out of the octagon after a poorly closed door. The video, shared by the Armenian himself on Instagram, quickly went viral on social media.

Tsarukyan demonstrated a spinning kick technique with a trainer. After the strike, the instructor stepped back and walked through the open door. He fell to the gym floor.

With his hands on his head, Arman ran towards the coach to check his condition. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries, but the scare was evident. In the caption, the fighter left a funny message.

“Can someone please keep the octagon closed?” the fighter wrote.

The incident comes amid a challenging year for Tsarukyan. In January, he injured his back hours before a match Islam makhachev by the belt UFC 311, being replaced by Renato Moicano. Dana White determined that he would need one more win before another chance.

The Armenian was an official replacement in UFC 317Where Ilia Topuria knocked out Charles of the Bronx for the vacant title. Tsarukyan had previously defeated the Brazilian in April 2024. He has also remained active in grappling events, including a victory over Patricky Pitbull by submission in May and Makasharip Zaynukov at Karate Combat 54.
