Valter Walker's lightning-fast victory against Kennedy Nzechukwu on the preliminary card of UFC Nashville helped fill his pockets . His third consecutive win with a heel hook earned the Brazilian the Performance of the Night award and a bonus of US$50 (R$278 at the current exchange rate).

In addition to Walker, another preliminary fight was also worthy of the bonus. Fatima Kline , who defeated Melissa Martinez in the first fight of the night with a perfect head kick at the end of the third round, will also leave Nashville with an extra amount.
Unlike other events, there was no Fight of the Night award. Furthermore, athletes involved in the preliminary card were not awarded the $50 prize, including Derrick Lewis , who knocked out Tallison Xicão in the main event.
