UFC 318: Dustin Poirier and Max Holloway make weight and confirm fight for the BMF title

Paulo Borrachinha and Roman Kopylov also confirmed their weight and guaranteed their participation in UFC 318

The main fight of UFC 318 was duly confirmed. All athletes involved in the 14 fights next Saturday stepped on the scales to make the duels valid in their respective categories at the official weigh-in this Friday (18). The event marks the return of the largest MMA organization in the world to the city of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Owner of the house and main star of the night, Dustin poirier was one of the first to show up for the weigh-in and managed to reach the lightweight division limit with the help of the tolerance pound for the last time as a professional athlete. Subsequently, Max Holloway also did his part and weighed 70,3 kg.

All Brazilians made weight

Brazilian best placed on the card, Paulo borrachinha left fans worried after a few minutes of delay in weighing in, but reached the limit of the middleweight division and confirmed the duel with the Russian Roman Kopylov, who also had no difficulty making weight.

Former Bellator champion, Patrick Pitbull confirmed the duel with Dan Ige when setting the limit for the featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg). In addition to this, Nicole Caliari, Bruno Hulk and Vinícius LokDog also confirmed their duels in the flyweight (up to 56,7 kg), middleweight (up to 83,9 kg) and bantamweight (up to 61,2 kg) categories.
