Patrick Pitbull won the first in the Ultimate. On Saturday night (19), on the main card of UFC 318, the former Bellator champion overcame Dan Ige by unanimous decision of the judges, in a fight marked by moments of excessive study, boos from the audience and few moments of explosion. The fight was valid for the organization's featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg).

With the result, Pitbull relieves the pressure of his first win for Dana White's company. The biggest name in Bellator history, the Brazilian has a record of 37 wins and eight losses. He had debuted with a defeat Yair Rodriguez in April this year.
Ige, meanwhile, felt the bitter taste of his tenth UFC defeat. The American, who also has 19 other victories, was coming off a comeback against Sean Woodson, also at the same event.

Patrício did well early on, developing his grappling game. The Brazilian invested in a grip against the fence and attempted a guillotine, which Ige quickly countered. The former Bellator champion's corner urged his protégé to surround him and impose his game, while the crowd booed the fighters' lack of action.
The second round drew a reaction from the fans right from the start. Clearly dissatisfied with what they were seeing, they chanted "Woohoo!" with every study by Pitbull and Ige. The two were quite respectful of each other, without much development, until the Brazilian landed a right bomb on the American, who felt it, closed in, and spun around the octagon to break free. Cleverly, the legend "ignored" the boos and used technique to put the fight to bed.
Dan Ige seemed to lack the same momentum until he landed a hard knee that made Pitbull grab his legs to breathe. The fight, however, didn't pick up steam. The two quickly returned to the exchange and stayed that way until the end.
